Unable to edit public datasource

Hello Team Helical,

I have created a public datasource so that I do not need to share the datasource again and again. I have created this public datasource by removing the security tag from globalconnection.xml file.
However I am not able to edit this datasource from the front-end? That edit option seems un-clickable. Please help.

Hello Kevin,

When a datasource has been made public it can not be edited from the front-end. There are two ways to handle that

  • One is you can either make the datasource again private which will allow you to edit it
  • Second option is you can directly open the globalconnection.xml file which has details of the datasource and make the required changes over there.
