Two date filters in dashboard for oracle giving error

Hello Helical Insight,

Hi team. I am using helical insight enterprise edition and db is oracle. At the dashboard level there are two dates which are added. It is giving an error like “OracleDatabaseException: ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis”.
Seems like two times casting expression got added. How can this be fixed?

Hello Netta,

This is a known bug. You can workaround it by at the report level you can simply cast one of date field as string (by using db function) and then add that as the filter. Then that field can be removed from the selection fields and then used. Then this problem will not come.
