Hello,
Security in metadata does not require all tables to be directly joined with the filter table. If tables are connected indirectly through other related tables at the joins placeholder at metadata level, even then security condition can still be applied.
When Global Security is used, the security rule is applied to the selected table as well as to all related tables in the metadata. However, if Table-level security is used, the rule will affect only that specific table.
If a table has no relationship (direct or indirect) with the filter table, the security condition will not apply to that table. Therefore, it is important to ensure that tables are properly linked in metadata for security to work correctly.
