Not able to access installed Helical Insight from other IP

Hello Team Helical,
I have installed Helical Insight version 3.1 on one of the cloud servers. However the link is not accessible from a lot of locations.I have installed it on port no: 8085
How can I make it accessible?

Hi Vetegoc,

On whatever server you have hosted Helical Insight make sure that the specific port number is able to access traffic.

For instance AWS is having something called “Inbound rules” where you can specify which port number will open for incoming traffic along with other configurations like whether it is TCP port etc. In your case you have to allow incoming traffic for the port number 8085 on your hosting server. Possibly on that server you can also specify whether the traffic is allowed from all the IP addresses or selected IP addrsses.
