I am using Helical Insight 4.1 GA. While saving the metadata it is giving below error
Error: MetadataRetrievalException: Could not save metadata. Cache still in progress Please try again later.

Steps : There might be various reasons, if you are trying to create a metadata with a lot of tables then it might give issue.
Also at the metadata level make sure that you do not have multiple tables or view with the same names. Also in the views also do not have similar column names, each column names should be unique. In case of duplicate or same name of views, tables or columnnames then also it might give error.
Column names uniqueness should be within that table/view itself, it is not necessarily required across though.
