Metadata giving “can not obtain cache error”

Hello Team Helical,

I am using Helical Insight 3.1 with SQLServer. I have created various reports and dashboards. I have changed the DBname and credentials by going to the datasources page, however after doing that when I open the metadata in edit mode it is giving error like “can not obtain cache”.

Hello Citoter,

"Open the metadata in edit mode. Navigate to the “INFO” tab and change the catalog name to the new dbname/new catalog name. If your DB name of the edited data source is the same then no such error will happen, however, it seems like the dbname/catalog name is different. Refer to the below image where the exact change is required.
