Hello Team,

Hello Snow,
To modify the JDBC connection URL format in Helical Insight, follow the steps below:
".../hi/hi-repository/System/Admin"
Locate the respective database driver configuration. You will find the JDBC URL definitions for the database, including the default and service-specific connection formats.
Modify the JDBC URL configuration according to your database connection requirements.
For example, for Oracle, you can modify the following configuration for accepting connection reqeuest as / instead of :
Existing configuration:
#Oracle
oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver=jdbc:oracle:thin:@{{hostName}}:{{port}}:{{database}},1521
type.service.oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver=jdbc:oracle:thin:@{{hostName}}:{{port}}/{{database}},1521
Modified configuration:
#Oracle
oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver=jdbc:oracle:thin:@{{hostName}}:{{port}}/{{database}},1521
type.service.oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver=jdbc:oracle:thin:@{{hostName}}:{{port}}:{{database}},1521
After completing these steps, the JDBC connection URL will be displayed in the modified format when configuring the respective database connection.
Note: Ensure that the modified JDBC URL follows the syntax supported by the respective database and JDBC driver. Restart the application if the changes are not reflected after a hard refresh. Try in private window
Thank You,
Helical Insight.
