The 4.0 version used to support the filters for individual reports and also filters at dashboard level in the same dashboard. In the new version, the filter display are at dashboard level. Is there a way we can show some filters next to the individual reports in the dashboard. We have some existing dashboards, where we are showings reports which are having separate filters on top of the reports.

In our version 5.0 Our dashboard filters come on to the right side as of today, and there are options that you can keep on other areas (Left, Top, Bottom and Right). Refer to this : Filter settings in Helical Insight version 5.0 Dashboard Designer - YouTube
In future we might add option of free floating dashboard filter position also.
Further, instead of dashboard, if you want you can open individual reports and click on filters and use them.
Further, you can add all the report filters to the dashboard too. If the dashboard has multiple inputs and not all reports use it, you can set up the values as needed; the reports which are meant to listen to those filters and will be updated accordingly. All the other reports will not be impacted. There was no need identified to have different filter pane for each report on the dashboard.
