File Browser not Opening

Hello Helical Insight,

I am using Helical Insight 4.0. When I open try to open the file browser, I am getting the following error:

Error: Uncaught TypeError: i.toLowerCase is not a function

url: http://dashboard.unidesign-jewel.com:8085/dashboard/js/file-browser.js, line: 2, column: 19497 (TypeError: i.toLowerCase is not a function)

Please give a solution at the earliest.

Hello Avinash,

This issue is occurring due to an error in the configuration of one or more reports. There are 2 solutions to this:

  1. You can remove all the folders from the hi-repository and start adding all the folders and reports one by one and parallel try to open the file browser. You will know which report is giving error.
  2. Please check if you are able to access the file browser when logged in as any other user. If so, create a testuser with organization “Null” and ROLE_ADMIN (same as hiadmin). Login as testuser and check if you are able to access all the files. Delete the user “hiadmin” and create “hiadmin” user again. Now you will be able to access the file browser when logged in as hiadmin as well.
