I am using helical insight enterprise edition 4.1 GA. When clicking on export it shows high utilization of CPU. Can you please clarify if this is expected?

Exporting is always a more memory intensive process since it will have to fetch the entire data and then export it for an end user to consume. The bigger the report data size more intensive it will be. When an exporting happens things like pagination etc also does not help with performance since entire data has to be downloaded. So this is a normal behavior, you can increase the hardware size in future or restrict the export especially for huge reports. It is always ideal to restrict the export size to limited records only.
