This issue was observed in earlier versions of Helical Insight (5.2.0–5.2.2).
Duplicate dashboards and reports were getting created due to:
• Conflicts during the import process
• Export including deleted objects from the recycle bin
As temporary workarounds:
• Using the “Update” option during import helped reduces duplication
• Clearing/emptying the recycle bin before export minimizes this issue
However, these were not ideal or permanent solutions.
This behavior has been fixed in newer versions. We recommend upgrading to Helical Insight 5.2.3 or above, where:
• Export/import functionality has been improved
• Recycle bin handling is corrected
• Duplicate creation issue is no longer reproducible
