Connect to Oracle Database

Hello Helical Insight,

I am using Helical Insight 4.0. I want to connect to Oracle database. Helical Insight is asking for Database Name in order to make the connection. I cannot find the database name in the connection details shared with me. I am only having the SID. Please help.

Hello Snow,

The database name is the same as the SID for Oracle. You can use the SID and provide the other details to establish the connection. In the below shown image, ORCL is the SID.
