It is possible to open the report from Dashboard and then use report level filters for further analysis?

Hi Pushpal,
Yes it is possible. The filters will also be part of report also (then only it can be part of dashbaord and affect that specific report). At the report level also you can play around with the reports, its filters, export, refresh cache etc.
Plz refer to the below image. When a report is opened at the right side there is an icon (marked in red box in the image). Clicking on it allows you to change the filter values.
