Cache Disable not working on Canned Report

Hello Helical Team,

I am using Helical Insight 4.0. I have a canned report. I would like the data in the report to be refreshed from the database every time the report is opened or refreshed. For this, I disabled the application cache using the cache.xml file. However, the change affects only the adhoc reports and not the canned report. How can I ensure the functionality works in canned report also?

Hello Kaji,

The application cache disable feature is currently not available for canned reports. As a work around, you can enable the cache and set the refresh time to 1 minute in the cache.xml file. In order to apply the changes, click on the Refresh Cache button at the bottom right of the admin home page. Though it is not really very advisable to keep the cache time very low as it can affect the performance of the product.
