Add tabular data in canned report

I am creating a canned report with few attributes at the top of the page and then adding a table below with all the records. However, I do not find an option to add a tabular data in the canned report. It does allow to individually add required fields and align them, but a table is much simpler and clean approach.

Is this available in canned reports ?

We are working on version 6.1 wherein we are providing support of table. Development is already done, testing is going on and then it will be released.

We are also working on adding support of crosstab, custom visualization and other features.
