How to remove hi-ee from the URL "http://45.89.48.204/hi-ee"

Dear Helical Team,

We are using Helical Insight v 3.1. The URL currently requires specifying the application name, e.g. http://45.89.48.204/hi-ee but I’d like to make this a default application so that appending “hi-ee” to the URL is not a requirement. By merely putting the IP address the Helical Insight application should open and manually “hi-ee” addition is not required. How can that be achieved?

Hello Marc,

Please open the file server.xml, the location of this file is “C:\Program Files\Helical Insight\hi\apache-tomcat-7\conf\server.xml” (might be slightly different in case of other OS).
Plz add a line
<Context docBase= "hi-ee" path= "" />
and then restart the server.
